Never Let Me Go (movie review)
A heart-rending, absolutely and painfully harrowing tale of a patiently-waiting, impossible love that is undermined by fate the very moment it appears to overcome obstacles and reach fruition.
The acting is absolutely superb; one cannot help but stand in awe with the performance of Carey Mulligan (Kathy), who expresses profound love in such a sublimely understated way, that is only feasible by a British actress. The tears half-shed, the untold disappointments and the feelings which appeared to be requited, but for some reason, and for so long, so unrequited.
